What will I learn?
You will explore the importance of hospitality businesses embracing innovation to cater for diverse and changing consumer trends and ensure that they are sustainably profitable. Compulsory modules on this course will allow you to gain knowledge and experience in topics including:

- hospitality operations management
- resilience management.
You will also acquire in-depth, applied insight through the use of hotel-simulation software, enabling you to explore realistic operational scenarios, make informed management decisions and develop practical problem-solving skills.
During your 12-month internship you will gain hands-on experience within a hospitality organisation, developing and applying your skills and knowledge.

How will I learn?
This course is available to study full- or part-time with classes taking place in the evening. Some modules may also offer classes in the afternoon.
You will take a combination of compulsory modules delivered by Le Cordon Bleu London, within walking distance of 糖心logo入口 campus, and compulsory and option modules delivered by the 糖心logo入口 Business School. You can choose option modules depending on your interests and career aspirations.
Your internship will be jointly delivered and supervised by both 糖心logo入口 and Le Cordon Bleu London.
You will also gain further experience and insight into the industry by way of case studies, site visits and industry professional guest speakers.

Full-time: Three to four day or evening classes a week, October to July.

You must complete modules worth a total of 180 credits, consisting of:
- six compulsory modules (15 credits each)
- an internship module (60 credits)
- two option modules (15 credits each).

Teaching

What are the methods of teaching?
Teaching is through lectures, class and small-group discussions, student-led seminars, presentations and group exercises, individual assignments and supervised independent research. These take place at both 糖心logo入口 and Le Cordon Bleu London.
You will also have access to a virtual learning environment where all information and materials relating to the course and modules are made available.

Internship participation
Please note that your participation in the internship is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of Le Cordon Bleu, and subject to you completing and achieving a passing grade at the taught part of the course, and meeting the conduct standards of Le Cordon Bleu. Lack of engagement with the internship process may also result in you not securing a place with an employer.
If you defer your internship, your existing internship placement will not be guaranteed. Any continuation or return to the same employer will be subject to the employer鈥檚 availability and willingness to offer a placement at the relevant time, as well as any applicable programme or placement requirements.

How will I be assessed?
Modes of assessment include reports, presentations, essays and examinations.聽The final module gives you the opportunity to undertake and report on an applied research project on a topic of your choice.

Entry requirements
Our standard entry requirements for postgraduate courses are a second-class honours degree (2:2), or equivalent, in any area of study.
We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.
On your application form, please list all your relevant qualifications and experience, including those you expect to achieve.

What are the English language requirements?
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests. We also accept other English language tests.

What are the visa and funding requirements?
If you are not from the UK and you do not already have residency here, you may need to apply for a visa.
The visa you apply for varies according to the length of your course:
- Courses of more than six months' duration: Student visa
- Courses of less than six months' duration: Standard Visitor visa
International students who require a Student visa should apply鈥痶o study on our courses full-time as these qualify for Student visa sponsorship. If you are living in the UK on a Student visa, you will not be eligible to enrol to study part-time courses at 糖心logo入口 (with the exception of some modules).
As a Student visa student, you should also apply to study on campus only, as online and flexible options of study鈥� (if they are available for your course) may affect the conditions of your visa.

Credits and accredited prior learning (APL)
If you have studied at university (or have an HND or Foundation Degree), you may have accumulated credits. It may be possible to transfer these from your previous study to 糖心logo入口 or another institution.
