What will I learn?
This course gives you the opportunity to develop and enact workplace neurodiversity coaching compassionately, ethically and informed by best evidence. This includes understanding how to embed聽consideration of multiple, and potentially marginalised, intersecting identities into your practice.
You will be exposed to progressive literature in this area which informs best coaching practice. You will also develop your competence and confidence to coach in a neurodiversity context with cognitive/behavioural topics, as well as with emotional and relational issues, within appropriate professional boundaries.

How will I learn?
On this course we draw on the principles of active learning to offer you case studies, exercises and reflective discussions to ensure safe practice and learning in a supportive peer environment.
This course is taught via four intensive weekend sessions taught in the daytime, consisting of lectures, seminars, group discussions and coaching practice on campus. This is complemented by high-quality online study via our virtual learning environment, including collaborative sessions and one-to-one tutorials, video resources, readings and individual learning activities.

Teaching
We聽encourage innovative and engaging ways of teaching to聽help聽ensure聽you聽have the best learning experience聽and聽provide聽a聽range of聽different聽modes of learning聽to聽help you聽juggle聽study聽with work and other commitments.
What are the methods of teaching?
Teaching is via a combination of lectures, seminars and practice-based activities via eight days of weekend teaching on campus. This is complemented by online resources which will allow you to undertake online self-study and peer-supported work, including asynchronous collaborative work and a synchronous, online group presentation.

How will I be assessed?
Specific assessment details can be found on the individual modules but include documentation of supervised independent coaching practice, and completion of autoethnographic logs, documenting your entire learning experience (reflections on the in-module activities, the independent coaching practice, and supervisions).

Entry requirements
Our standard postgraduate entry requirement is a second-class honours degree (2:2 or above), or an聽equivalent international qualification聽however, professional qualifications and/or relevant work experience are taken into consideration positively and may be accepted in place of a degree.
In your supporting statement please let us know clearly your motivation to undertake this course. You will also need to list and provide evidence of existing coaching or other relevant professional and academic qualifications you have gained, such as accreditation with the International Coaching Federation, ILM level 7, CIPD level 7 or similar.
We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.
On your application form, please list all your relevant qualifications and experience, including those you expect to achieve.

What are the English language requirements?
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests. We also accept other English language tests.

What are the visa and funding requirements?
If you are not from the UK and you do not already have residency here, you may need to apply for a visa.
The visa you apply for varies according to the length of your course:
- Courses of more than six months' duration: Student visa
- Courses of less than six months' duration: Standard Visitor visa
International students who require a Student visa should apply鈥痶o study on our courses full-time as these qualify for Student visa sponsorship. If you are living in the UK on a Student visa, you will not be eligible to enrol to study part-time courses at 糖心logo入口 (with the exception of some modules).
As a Student visa student, you should also apply to study on campus only, as online and flexible options of study鈥� (if they are available for your course) may affect the conditions of your visa.

Credits and accredited prior learning (APL)
If you have studied at university (or have an HND or Foundation Degree), you may have accumulated credits. It may be possible to transfer these from your previous study to 糖心logo入口 or another institution.

Part-time home students: 拢4,380 per year
Part-time international students: 拢7,260 per year
