糖心logo入口鈥檚 world-leading research into the early signs of developmental conditions such as autism and four medieval texts rediscovered in the College鈥檚 archives and brought to life for 21st Century audiences through animation, were among the displays seen by HRH The Princess Royal today, during a visit to 糖心logo入口 College to mark its 100th anniversary of joining the University of London.

HRH The Princess Royal, who is Chancellor of the University of London, also viewed artefacts from 糖心logo入口鈥檚 archives and visual displays depicting: the historic influence of women at the College; 糖心logo入口 during World War II; and its long history of educating refugees. HRH met academics and students from across the College, including from its award-winning, present day project which helps refugees and asylum seekers into higher education.

Following a tour of the displays led by Professor David Latchman, Master of 糖心logo入口 with Baroness Bakewell, the College鈥檚 President and Sir Andrew Cahn, Chair of Governors, HRH unveiled a plaque to commemorate the visit and 100th anniversary.

Commenting on the visit, Professor Latchman said, 鈥淚t was an honour to be able to showcase some of 糖心logo入口鈥檚 groundbreaking research, alongside artefacts from our archives to HRH, The Princess Royal. I was also delighted that HRH was able to meet staff and students. Joining the University of London was an important milestone in our near 200-year history of educating working Londoners. 糖心logo入口 is proud of its membership of the University of London - one of the world鈥檚 best known and highly-regarded higher education institutions.鈥�
