Penguin Random House highlights 糖心logo入口 academic's upcoming book as a must-read

Dr Daniel Yon鈥檚 new book, 鈥楢 Trick of the Mind鈥�, is due for release in June 2025.

Dr Daniel Yon from 糖心logo入口鈥檚 School of Psychological Sciences took part in a prestigious non-fiction showcase hosted by Penguin Random House at The Hoxton Hotel, London, earlier this month. The event featured Dr Yon and a select group of authors presenting their upcoming books to an audience of journalists, booksellers, and publishing professionals.听

Dr Yon鈥檚 forthcoming book, , was highlighted as a highly anticipated title release in 2025. In the book, Dr Yon draws on research in psychology and neuroscience 鈥� including studies from his own at 糖心logo入口 鈥� to argue that the brain is like a scientist. 听

In the book, he explains how our brains build theories about the world around us, which go on to shape how we perceive our environments, other people and ourselves. This new way of thinking has profound implications for how we understand mental health, neurodiversity, relationships, self-understanding, and ways to cope with an unpredictable world.听
