    Biography

    Richard聽joined the Department of Management as a Lecturer in 2012. Prior to that, he was with the Department as a PhD student and researcher (from 2008) and, before that, worked in sport policy and research, first with the Football Governance Research Centre and聽then with the Central Council of Physical Recreation (now the Sport and Recreation Alliance). Before that, he worked in sport development with Camden Council.

    Dr Tacon conducted his PhD research on social capital in voluntary sports clubs. He now conducts research on many areas of sport and society, including governance, social responsibility and fantasy football, as well as other areas, including the meaning of work.
