Usernames, passwords and MFA

All staff and students are assigned a username and email address which provides access to IT facilities at 糖心logo入口. New student accounts are set up during enrolment, and new staff accounts are set up when you join 糖心logo入口.

You will need to set the password for your new 糖心logo入口 account.

You can change or reset your 糖心logo入口 password yourself or contact .

  • Information for students

    • If you are a new student at 糖心logo入口, we will send your 糖心logo入口 username and 糖心logo入口 email address to the email address you provide during enrolment.
    • You will need to set the password for your new 糖心logo入口 account.
    • You will be able to use your 糖心logo入口 IT account until the end of your course.
    • If you are interrupting your studies or re-sitting exams, you will retain access to IT facilities.聽

  • Information for staff

  • Information for other users

    • If you are not a student or staff member but have a need to access IT services at 糖心logo入口 (for instance, you are hiring a room or doing some work with us), please speak to a member of staff who can request a bespoke account on your behalf. 糖心logo入口 staff should make this request using the form under the IT services tab on My 糖心logo入口 for Staff.

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

    • 糖心logo入口 uses Microsoft Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) to provide an additional layer of security on top of your username and password when you access College resources online. Once set up it, is easy to use and provides increased protection from cyber-attacks.
    • MFA works by asking you to verify who you are when signing in. This can be done using a mobile app, text message, or phone call.
    • MFA verification聽is currently聽required when logging in to all College services; e.g., Microsoft365.
    • We recommend you use the MFA app as Microsoft will no longer allow authentication by phone call or text message from 1 February 2027.
    • All聽staff and students are聽required to register for MFA聽(pdf file).
    • If you have lost your phone and can no longer access your MFA please contact the and they can reset this for you following suitable identification.
