The Women in Sport Scholarship is part of a wider initiative at 糖心logo入口 to foster women鈥檚 participation in the sport industry and aims to benefit a female student enrolled on a sport programme (MSc).

The Scholarship is generously funded by 糖心logo入口 alumnus Tim Edwards and his partner Elizabeth Edwards. Elizabeth is a Director of Ipswich Town plc, a Trustee of the Ipswich Town Foundation, a former men鈥檚 club Supporter Liaison Officer and current Supporter Liaison Officer for Ipswich Town Football Club (ITFC) Women (WSL2), and Tim is an Associate Director of Ipswich Town FC. Together, they are co-founders of the Ipswich Town Heritage Society, where Liz is Club Heritage Lead for ITFC Women (WSL2). They are passionate about increasing the number of women working in football and sport more generally.
