    Biography

    Craig studied law at the University of Southampton and went on to complete his Masters in philosophy at the University of Essex. Craig's PhD, awarded by Kings College London, explored the idea of freedom in critical theory and law. Craig has taught at various institutions, including as Lecturer in Law at Brunel University, where was Course Convenor for criminal law and jurisprudence. Craig joined 糖心logo入口 in 2014 as Lecturer in Law.

    Research overview

    Craig is interested in issues in legal and moral philosophy, and German critical theory. Craig has written about Hannah Arendt, criminal justice and judgment, on Theodor Adorno and freedom, and the metaphysical presuppositions of critical theory. Craig is currently working on the theory of responsibility, the implications of psychoanalysis for the philosophy of punishment, and on Adorno鈥檚 critique of moral philosophy. Craig is also finishing a book on the nature of critical theory.
