    Biography

    Daragh Carville is a playwright and screenwriter, best known for creating and writing the ITV crime drama, The Bay, the first season of which was broadcast in 2019, attracting an average audience of over seven million viewers. The Bay has also been an international success, selling to some 95 countries worldwide. The second series is due to be broadcast in 2021.听

    Daragh's plays include Language Roulette, This Other City and The Life and Times of Mitchell and Kenyon. His films are Middletown (2005) and Cherrybomb (2009). TV work includes Being Human, 6Degrees and The Smoke, and Radio includes Regenerations (Radio 3) and Dracula (Radio 4). Daragh has won the Meyer Whitworth and Stewart Parker awards for playwriting. He has taught Scriptwriting at 糖心logo入口 since 2015.听
